Tiger Woods to Make Debut in Abu Dhabi in 2012

Heres another news I found on Tiger Woods..

Tiger Woods to Make Debut in 2012: A Fan’s Outlook

Tiger Woods will play his first tournament of 2012 in Abu Dhabi this week. He comes off a win at last year’s Chevron World Challenge, an event that Woods sponsors. Something is in his game is present that has not been there since the collapse of his family life of a few year’s prior.

This integral ingredient is confidence.

Tiger has stated that he is comfortable and ready to be competitive again. Who better to know the true skills of the 71-time winner on the PGA Tour than the man himself? Woods is his harshest critic. When he is playing poorly, his demeanor reflects it. Tiger Woods is a perfectionist and it says he is primed for another incredible year of golf. I say make way and let the spectacular performances unfold.

Being a fan of Woods since his early years, I am incredibly excited to see the champ in peak shape again. He is the person who first garnered my attention in the sport of golf. I’ve witnessed greatness, and he is the most dominating person in any sport during my lifetime, barring Roger Federer (who has also seen some recent decline in his respective game). I am also a huge fan of Tiger Woods’ video games made by EA Sports, which are engaging and simultaneously frustrating, much like the sport itself.

There are several things to watch for as Tiger plays his first tournament in the United Arab Emirates. I previously mentioned demeanor. Woods’ disposition is often indicative of how well he thinks he is playing. Post-round interviews will always be honest, and he will tell where he thinks his game is weak. Areas of concern are errant drives and putting. Also, when Tiger becomes flustered, he starts playing fast and is prone to excessive expectoration. Immediately after striking the ball, he will either be visibly flustered or staring down his shot in admiration.
